The Eclipse Graphical Modelling Framework (GMF) let’s you model a graphical editor. Depending on your metamodel the models you are creating while developing the editor become very large and hard to handle.

If you have a lot of figures which differ only in some detail you could use GemGMF to design a common figure template and the differences for each figure at an other place. GenGMF will generate the GMFGraph and GMFMap models from your GenGMF-Model.
